A formal request has been made by members of the PMWA organisation to hold a Special General Meeting to consider the following business:

‘Due to the resignation of the Executive Committee on the 25th November 2018 and no immediate committee being formed. Therefore, an EGM needs to be called, allowing members to form a new PMWA executive committee (this should include a selection process on the day for volunteered members).’

For this purpose, a meeting has been called for:

Sunday 13 January 2019 @ 14:00

Please note: January 2019 renewals will be delayed until such time a new committee has been formed.

We would like to stress this has no impact on your membership.

You and your family will continue to be covered by the association and renewals will take place towards the end of January 2019.

We apologies for the inconvenience caused and will be available to assist with any enquiries you may have in the meantime.

About Us

Pakistan Muslim Welfare Association (PMWA) is a Woking based, voluntary funeral services provider. PMWA offer a complete package for the deceased from the time of death to relieve the pressure from families and friends at the time of mourning for their loved ones. The services cover everything from the transport of the deceased body to the janazah, cemetery or the airport; to arranging and carrying out ghusl, organizing the salat ul janazah. PMWA also assists with any paperwork that needs to be carried out, including completing the registration of the death with the nominated registrars. PMWA assists with choosing the burial plot and finally laying the deceased to rest.

The Pakistan Muslim Welfare Association was set up to work for the benefit of, and to help promote the interests of Muslims living in Woking and adjacent areas. We do this without any discrimination on the basis of creed or colour, sect, sex, political affiliations or opinions of the members.
